Changing Leaves | ||
Leaves of carmine, leaves of gold Bid us look and joy behold. They are happy with their change, Proudly reigning on their range. If we heedlessly pass by It will sore their patience try. So it is with folks we meet Every day upon the street. If we pass without a smile They'll be downcast for a while. Let us note what e'er we pass Even glist'ning blades of grass. | ||
