Flooding | ||
Rivers cresting cause a flood, Mixing water with the blood. Swirling eddies snatch a man Even though he swiftly ran. Cattle have to swim their best If they would survive the test. Fifteen feet the waters rise, Taking drops from leaden skies. Cars can't float and so they sink. Lots of water!none to drink. Then at last there comes the sun. Soon the flooding will be done. What's the purpose of it all? Why much such disaster fall? Floods are fathomless, it seems. Just a way to crush one's dreams. | ||
