Butterflies | ||
Butterflies weather a radical shift, No longer worms, they have wings and are swift. In the cocoon did they patiently wait, Possibly wondering what their fate. Patience rewarded, they now flap their wings, Lavishly mottled like some kind of kings. Soaking up sunshine, they pass all their hours Looking for beauty and kissing the flowers. Maybe to us a fine lesson they teach! Patiently wait for the things that you reach. | ||
