The Poor | ||
| Although the poor are always here, We dare not simply pass them by. We cannot make them disappear, But help a bit their tears to dry. They need much more than food and drink. They need to build their self-esteem. They want to raise their hopes that sink And have a fragrant lasting dream. The Lord has blessed us bountifully. He's given us his love to share. So let us help the folks we see And give them comfort everywhere. | ||
