Vulture | ||
The vulture circles o'er its meal, Waiting for the stag to fall. The stag begins to droop and reel, Casting on the woods a pall. But then a bluebird starts to sing To give the hind the will to live. The stag revives and hope to cling And thanks to bluebird wants to give. The vulture sulks and soars away, Thus cheated of its erstwhile prey. The stag will taste another day And grin for joy the good old way. | ||
