| Charlotte the cat is a soft furry pet! Likes to be petted and seldom will fret, Sits by the window to peer in the yard, Eyeing the birds with a special regard. Charlotte would love to have lunch on a bird (I think the idea is really absurd). Next to a bird she would favor a mouse. But there are none in this comfort'ble house. Charlotte must thus be content with her dream, Waiting for snack time with peaches and cream. | ||
