Traveling | ||
We smoothly travel o'er the land, Protected by God's mighty hand. The miles go slipping quickly by And soon we bid our loved ones "hi." The states are gone before we know, Or Santa Claus can say "Ho, Ho." The road is long; it does not stop, Not e'en to watch a rabbit hop. But now the car must get some gas So it can cruise along in class. I thank my grandson for his aid With which this little verse was made. | ||
