| Hooray, the afghan's finally done. It's finished after forty years. For all the work, it was great fun And didn't give us cause for tears. It doesn't look so very old! The colors are as bright as new. The pinks and oranges are so bright And every shade of red and blue. Skillful fingers made the quilt After many years of rest. It will cause no pangs of guilt. It came out the very best. | ||
