When Columbus reached the shore, Life was changed forevermore. Cultures clashed for centuries Till they blended with more ease. Many died from sword or ill, Forced to change against their will. Old World gave the New the horse, Helping Indians gain more force. Old World tasted spuds and corn; Thus new appetites were born. But when all is said and done, Now the two worlds' fate is one. | ||
