Strain

The arm is weak from exercise.
It's not accustomed to such work.
It found the job a great surprise
But did it well without a quirk.
The arm deserves a peaceful rest
For all the painting it has done.
It certainly has done its best
And finished well what it begun.
So other parts of us as well
From time to time can suffer strain.
From extra work they rest a spell
Because they feel a mighty drain.
