A Child's Smile | ||
| The smile of a child is a marvelous thing: As bright and as gay as a butterfly's wing. It's hard not to smile when a little one beams. It helps one to open his mind to fresh dreams. The smile warms the heart like a vigorous fire And leads one to work at his best, not to tire. It opens the doors that are shut in despair, Suffusing a peace that is lighter than air. Praise be to the Lord for a child's pleasant smile. It helps to make all of one's duties worthwhile. | ||
