| Mauna Loa, mighty peak: Few indeed your pathway seek. A'a and pahoe'oe Vegetation did destroy. Brave ohia finds a crack; Now it's bravely coming back. Twisted trunk with blossom red Like the fire in Pele's head. Cairns are marking all the way, Lest the hiker's footsteps stray. So in life we too must seek Guideposts for each day and week. | ||
