Lonely House | ||
The house is dark and still, Pervaded by a chill. We've been away so long It has forgot our song. And yet it's glad we're back To keep things on the track. The furnace warms the air And sun invades the stair. A frozen plant may yet Our thoughtfulness forget. No matter where we roam It's nice to have some home. | ||
