How swiftly are the children grown And facing life upon their own. Their time with us was all too short. They now can well themselves support. They once were infants with a cry And then cute toddlers asking "why?" They went to school and tried some sports, And learned to write those long reports. In college days they found romance To put them in a starry trance, And joyously they found a spouse With whom to start their own warm house. | ||
