| When is warfare ever just? Are there times when nations must Take up arms to kill a foe? I don't really think I know. Enemies are hard to love When they start to push and shove. We must stand for what is right Yet that need not force a fight. Though our ends are good indeed Must our means make people bleed? Grant us peace o Lord, we pray, Though the fighting's far away. | ||
