Hikers | ||
Onward and upward the hikers ascend, Wondering where the mean pathway will tend. Far have they come, but the end's not in sight. Blisters are forming; their shoes are too tight. Rain starts to pour mid the gusts of cold air, Still they reject any thoughts of despair. Firmly their legs take one step at a time Till they draw near to the goal of their climb. There's a warm shelter on top of the peak, Shining with hope on the mountaintop bleak. Thus, too, in life if we seek we shall find Heavenly shelter that gives peace of mind. | ||
