| Jesus is calling the world to repent, Asking for penance not only in Lent. He wants us all to attend those in need, Swallowing pride and repressing all greed. We must be open to chances each day, Ready to follow his cross all the way. We never earn his unmerited grace, But we should strive very hard in their place, Looking for ways we can feed all his sheep, Comforting those who disconsolate weep. Help us, o Lord, with a faith that is strong, Ready to fight any evil or wrong. | ||
