| Christopher climbed to the top of the hill, Looking for dragons to give him a thrill. Up in the treetop a monkey peered out. Christopher spied him and gave a great shout. Monkey was frightened and hid in the tree. Christopher said, "Please come down here to me." Down came the monkey one limb at a time, Ready to listen to Christopher's rhyme. Christopher said, "Will you be my friend?" "Yes," said the monkey, and this is the end. | ||
