Birthdays | ||
Older and wiser I wish I could be As each year passes and rolls over me. Birthdays are times to reflect on our state, Looking ahead to the joys of our fate. Every new year brings a chance to excel If we but try to do everything well. Presents galore we all have from above, Thanks to God's mercy, protection, and love. One need not plunder or scramble for wealth If he is blessed with a family and health. Numerous candles may glow in the cake, Lighting the future I know I must take. How can I fail to enjoy each new year When my beloved is happy and near. | ||
