| Granddaughter's eyes are the deepest of blue. They see the world and they light upon you, Dreaming of visions to warm her sweet heart, Seeing the past and the future apart. O that our role model gladdens those eyes And that she learns where true happiness lies. Those eyes may witness new wonders untold: Peace on the planet and space probes so bold. Tears may be shed for a love gone amiss, Only to dry from the warmth of a kiss. Praise to the Lord for those beautiful orbs, Fathomless proof that her great mind absorbs. | ||
