Mother's Death | ||
My mother will soon be at home with her Lord. His mansions for her are now readied with care. She'll cross the divide with her smile all restored And leave bitter pain for a life that is fair. Although I will miss her sweet voice and her touch I know that her spirit will never be far. She'll live in my heart 'cause I love her so much And light up my life, like a far-away star. * The time I sat down with my paralyzed mother I told her I loved her and squeezed her sweet hand. She listened with joy as I read her God's word, And smiled as I spoke of the peace in His land. | ||
