| Jesus, the savior of all who believe: Your resurrection brought new hope to all, Comforting those who do sorrow and grieve, Cleansing the sin of the great and the small. All we need do is to trust in Your name, Counting on You for our power and peace. None of our feelings will e'er be the same, Trusting Your love to ensure us release. Joyfully, thankfully, all of our days, We lift to You our sincere thanks and praise. * Though air is damp and skies are gray The risen Lord can make me smile. He chases all my blues away And cheers me all the while. The savior of the human race Has risen from the dead To fill us with his warming grace And kick us out of bed. Had He not bled and died for me I would to sin be chained. But now I am a spirit free; His kingdom I have gained. Isn't it nice we can count on His love? God strengthens and comforts his flock. | ||
