The Blind | ||
The blind deserve some special aid To ease their way and help them smile. They then can live quite unafraid And spend their days in classy style. They need an arm on which to lean, Another's eyes to read their mail. Although their laughs are far between, Their sense of humor will not fail. Their eyes are shut but not their ears, And all the sounds they hear make sense. They know each time a friend appears To ease a situation tense. At times they trip and lose their way, With no one there to be their guide. Yet even then they praise the day And "see" their life with joy and pride. | ||
